Very good quality for the price

This jacket is great especially for the price! It fits well, keeps me warm wether I am riding or just wearing it everyday. It came quickly in the mail, and was a very good price. I was very surprised to see how it was really nicely tailored. I would definitely buy from them again!

Good coat, needs measurements

I was coveting the heck out of this coat, but held off on buying it because it didn't have any measurements. I don't have a computer and it was a little hard to find accurate info online. I finally found another third party website with a size chart, but it was way off (said the XS fit a 32-33" chest)The leather is thick and unyielding when you first get it. The zipper is large, heavy duty, and glides well. The grain of the leather is a little cheapy, but so is the price and is built more for durability and protection than looks.The grain on the left and right sides don't exactly match up, and have broken in unevenly, but this is the peril of buying animal products.I bought some mink oil and leather lotion, and tossed it around the dryer with a couple of tennis balls to help break it in.Below are the measurements for the XS, however please keep in mind these are approximate, and after its little dryer tumble:Shoulders: 14.5" acrossBody: 17.5" acrossLength: 20" from shoulderSleeves: 22.5" from shoulderThe reviews are correct, the fit is more barrel-chested, and the back is cut so that there is plenty of extra material for movement. However, this also adds bulk. I'm a Junior's XS/ Ladies XXS and this fits bulky. The saving feature on the fit is the shoulders are nice and tight, so it doesn't look like you stole your old uncle's leathers. It looks much more boxy in person that the slightly fitted look of the jacket shown in the photo. In person, the body of the coat is wider than the shoulders.I have read that a soak in hot water and a tumble in the dryer inside a pillowcase aids in shrinking. The quality of the leather and the price I paid is such that I feel it would be worth the risk.If you're planning on shrinking your jacket, make sure to condition and weatherproof it with saddlesoap and mink oil first, then soak in hot water and tumble dry. Condition again after the tumble, and allow to air-dry (I've been told wearing it while drying helps it conform to your shape)

right size in arms/shoulder, but made for a broader-body

Great riding jacket, tough and ruged as well as stylish. I just wish it was a more slender fit. Obviously made for a broader-bodied person. Seller did not misrepresent; was nice enough to tell me that sizes run small, but that obviously refers to length collar-to-waist, arm length and shoulder-width. Bought for my daughter who is a slender build, you could almost fit two of her in this one and still get it zipped. I may have to exchange for the tapered model, which is twice the price :(...
